Artist's Resale Right (ARR)
In February 2006 a law was passed
whereby living artist's have a right to claim 4% of any monies over
€1000
made on their paintings or works of art in the 'second-hand' auction
market. This means that if we sell a painting for
€1000
or above, the purchaser has to pay an extra 4% of the hammer for
Artist's Resale Right. This is then passed on to DACS who
administer ARR and pay out to the relevant artists. We will
mark these lots with a diamond symbol in the sale catalogue.

|

We operate a bidding number system.
All buyers must complete a saleroom registration form and collect a
bidding number before the commencement of the sale.

We are pleased to execute commission
bids for those unable to attend the sale. Commission forms are
available in the saleroom office. Bids when placed by
telephone or fax are accepted only at the sender's risk. The
Auctioneers cannot accept any fault in executing or failing to
execute commission bids.
