Conditions of Sale |

ALL
BIDDERS MUST BE REGISTERED WITH THE SALES OFFICE BEFORE THE SALE
COMMENCES.

1. |
The
highest bidder subject to the reserve (if any) to be the purchaser
and if any dispute arise between two or more bidders the lot shall
be put up again and resold; but the decision of the Auctioneer
shall, in all cases, be final. The Vendor reserves the right
to bid by himself or his agent, and the Auctioneer reserves the
right of withdrawing and altering any lot or lots and refusing to
take bids from any person. All reserve prices shall be given
to the Auctioneers in writing at least one week before the day of
the sale.

All
lots lie at the Vendor's risk until sold and remain at the
Vendor's risk if unsold. The Auctioneers accept no
responsibility for the loss or of damage to any lot (howsoever
caused) whilst it remains at the place of sale. All unsold
lots shall be cleared from the Sale Room by the Vendor at his or
her expense.

The
purchasers to give in their names and places of abode and, if
required, shall pay down 25% of the purchase money at the fall of
the hammer in part payment of the purchase money, in default of
which the lots so purchased shall be put up again and
resold. No cheques will be taken from persons unknown to the
Auctioneers without a satisfactory reference or banker's
guarantee. On no account will the transferring of any lot or
lots be allowed. Cheques from third parties will NOT be
accepted for payment of accounts.

4. |
The
lots are at the risk of the purchaser at the fall of the hammer
and shall be removed (with all defects, faults and errors of
description) no later than five working days after the sale and
the purchase money must be paid on or before delivery. No
lot will be delivered during the Sale.

5. |
The
various lots are believed to be correctly described in the
Catalogue, but purchasers shall have no claim against the Vendor
or the Auctioneers for any error, misdescription, defect or
deficiency in respect of any lots. The purchaser is presumed
to have examined and have full knowledge of the lots, therefore no
warranty is given. |

6. |
The
Auctioneers reserve the right to make a charge for any breakages.

7. |
Every
person whilst on the premises of Stride & Son before, during
or after the Sale shall be deemed to be there at his/her own risk
and no person shall have any claim against the Vendor or the
Auctioneers in respect of any injury he/she may sustain, or
accident which may happen.

8. |
The
Auctioneers reserve the right (at their discretion) to sell for not
less than the reserve price any unsold lots which remain at
the salerooms after the sale has concluded.

9. |
Any
lot withdrawn from the auction after publication of the catalogue
will incur an administration charge of 10% plus VAT based on the
reserve price or the Auctioneers low estimate.

|
The
acceptance of goods for sale is to be at the discretion of the
Auctioneers, who reserve the right to dispose of any items of
small value, or which are considered unsuitable for inclusion in
the catalogue, either before or after the sale.

|
Lastly
- Upon failure of complying with the above conditions the money so
deposited shall be forefeited and if not cleared within the time
specified the lots shall be re-sold without further notice, by
public or private sale at the discretion of the Auctioneers, and
the deficiency (if any) together with all charges attending the
same, shall be made good by the defaulter or defaulters at this
sale. The Auctioneers, while taking every reasonable care to
protect the respective lots after they are sold do not hold
themselves responsible for any loss or damage, that may arise to
any such lot or lots after the fall of the hammer.

statements contained in catalogues as to any lot are made without
responsibility on the part of the Vendors or the Auctioneers. |
