Mark Hewitt

Mark Hewitt FRICS is the partner responsible for the saleroom.  He has been resident valuer and auctioneer at Strides since 1975 and, as his time in the business suggests, Mark has a wealth of experience.  He is always pleased to advise you about items for possible sale.  Mark is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors so you can be fully assured of his professionalism and experience in all fine art matters.

Kevin Warne

Kevin Warne is our saleroom manager and has been with Strides since 1983.  His experience of the auction and antiques business is invaluable to us.  His particular field of interest is medals and militaria.

This is jointly run by John Martin and Barnaby Chiari.

ADMINISTRATION

Imogen Stewart

Imogen runs our Finance Department.  Her connections with Strides go back to the mid 1980's, although she has a wide range of experience working for other Chartered Surveyors and Accountancy firms.  Imogen also has considerable experience organising outside auctions and runs our successful local boat auctions.

Simon Bullingham

Simon Bullingham is our head porter.  Responsible for the movement of the 1000 or more items passing through our doors each month, he is the person you should contact about consignment or packing of goods purchased.

Monica Butler

Monica is our Administrator and will be your first contact point at Strides.  Among her responsibilities is maintaining our specialist PACTS computer system, and you should contact her concerning any administrative or routine accounts enquiries.
