Craquelure seen in various areas, especially to hindquarters of adult horse. Various areas of over painting seen. Evidence of a past impact above adult horse. Gilt decoration has found its way onto canvas at top of picture about 2cm in length. Two small areas of paint loss near leg of trough. The painting is dirty and will need a clean. It is not varnished or under glass. Chips, cracks and rubbing to frame.
