In Stirling, autumn 1825, Janet Ramage 'was indicted for attempt to murder by administering poison', whilst on June 21st 1819 George Campbell faced 'a charge of violating or attempting to violate the sepulchres of the dead & the attempting to raise & carry away dead bodies': contained in half-morocco commonplace book of period, rubbed with spine deficient, 8vo.
