An antique needlework sampler, inscribed 'Sophia Carver Worked This', 44.5 x 31cm.
A hole in fabric below the left hand stag. Some staining and several small stitched repairs. Fraying at edges and particularly at corners. Really needs cleaning which would brighten it up.
