A World War II German Luftwaffe first pattern dagger and sheath, unnamed, having aluminium chain attached, stamped GES.GESCH and OLC.
Plating to blade scratched, showing areas of rusting. Grip intact, but scuffed. Cross guard and pommel discoloured and rubbed. Scabbard leather scuffed and split, showing loss, mounts fairly heavily rusted.
