A George III oak and inlaid eight day longcase clock, the 12in arched painted dial indistinctly inscribed 'Chas H..., Stalybridge', 215cm high, with weights and pendulum.
Finger tip size area of missing paint to left side of dial. Cracking to paint on dial. Chips to outside edges of paint on dial. Woodworm in various areas which are not solid oak. Door warped. Both back feet are missing. Movement likely cleaned and serviced in the last 20 years. Minor woodworm to backboard. Winds and ticks. Not tested for duration or accuracy.
