A 19th century German presentation sword, by P.D Lüneschloss Solingen, having etched French presentation to its 83cm triangular blade 'A Mr De Fabrony Son Commandant  De 1830.1846 La Garde National De Romorantin', with gilded guard and tortoiseshell grip.

IN HOUSE SHIPPING IS NOT AVAILABLE ON THIS LOT.
The inscription roughly translates to 'to Mr De Fabrony his commander of the National Guard of Romorantin 1840.1846'.
Rusting to blade, multiple dents to blade edge, some deep rust spots, gilding worn, damage and minor loss to the tortoiseshell.
No scabbard.
