A 19th century carved and painted wood butcher's shop diorama, the visible area 40 x 60cm, in the original mahogany framed case, the whole 50.5cm high x 71.5cm wide x 19.5cm deep.
CASE, veneer loss to frame, particularly at bottom, split to top of case, loss and damage to back boards. INTERIOR, a smattering of woodworm holes visible on butchers table and shop floor, but not elsewhere, splits through all three window frames, dust and insect detritus visible on all surface. Possible shop sign missing as evenly spaced holes are seen under central window, however no other signs of missing items, replacements or repairs seen.
