An impressive and intricate Japanese carved ivory okimono figure group, Meiji, depicting eight figures with a large rope tied sack, 10.5cm high.
Signature tablet missing. Tallest figure missing tip of something on back strap gourd drinker, end of rope on gourd missing and the top of his sword scabbard is missing. Man at front with pole in hand missing end of strap on chest and where sword and pole meet, there is a crack but no loss. The tip of his sword scabbard missing. Minor loss to his left shoe aswell.
There may well be some other damage or minor loss to this but we cannot be certain. Generally in very good condition with only minor loss.
